Cacao Prima was founded in 1998 with a passionate vision: to share Indonesia's finest cocoa with the world while uplifting local farming communities.
What started as a small fermentation facility in the heart of Sulawesi has grown into one of Indonesia's most respected cocoa processing companies. Our founder, Wahyu Hartato, learned the art of cocoa fermentation from his grandfather and combined this traditional knowledge with modern food science.
Today, we work directly with over 5,000 smallholder farmers across Sulawesi and Sumatra, ensuring fair prices and sustainable farming practices. Our commitment to quality has earned us partnerships with premium chocolate makers in Europe, North America, and Asia.
